Context: Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) six days ago posted notice (below) of its search for additional leadership in forging more lifescience alliances that could transform both pharma and digital health. Below are a transcript and links to the original executive job notice.

The Vanderbilt life-sciences community gained further notice in 2023, when Vanderbilt's development and commercialization alliance with Neumora Therapeutics came into sharper focus, as VNC reported here.

Among other recent pro-alliance initiatives, VU and-or VUMC seeded the formation of the independent nonprofit Greater Nashville Venture Capital Association, expanded its Vanderbilt Innovation Ambassadors program and -- alongside the Government of Metropolitan Nashville and Davidson County (Metro) -- announced plans for a full-blown Nashville Innovation Alliance.
