The 2019 Jumpstart Foundry cohort includes the 15 firms listed below, plus two that will not be released til autumn. More on the JSF portfolio here. The teams are to visit Nashville as a group, May 30-31.


AGOGIE (St. Louis) Resistance Apparel for "passive workouts" that burn calories and tone muscle.

CaptoGlove (Destin) Produces a wearable machine interface, sensors and digital interface to convey human movements for range of applications.

Carepool (Madison, Wisc.) A transportation procurement platform for special needs passengers, care managers, trained drivers, and third party payers.

Curemint (Los Angeles) Platform for purchasing and billing processes of suppliers and dental organizations, with purchasing analytics.

iTherapyDocs (Albuquerque) Builds enterprise software solutions for the Medicaid Intellectual and Developmentally Disabled (IDD) Market.

Kegelbell (Mesa, Ariz.) An an externally weighted system for strengthening women's pelvic floor muscles.

Lotus Scrubs (Sunnyvale) A subscription-based service for medical professionals to purchase low-cost, quality scrubs.

Intelligent Observation (Miami) A system allowing hospitals to track handwashing compliance of staff, to reduce acquired infection rates.

Lytic (Chicago) "Carestep" digital offering supports finding and receiving personalized care.

Medifies (San Francisco) Software that allows clinical staff to push patient-related notifications to patients' families, reducing family in-hospital waiting.

Nouri (Atlanta) Aims to help increase mental and physical health globally, by offering probiotic capsules and other products.

Ruth Clinic (Columbia, Tenn.) Provides evidence-based Medication Assisted Treatment for opioid addiction recovery in high-need areas. (Earlier input from JSF amended 22 May 2019.-Ed.)

Scribelink (San Jose) Reduces physicians' patient documentation burdens by use of a remote digital scribe to capture and document doctor-patient interactions.

surefhir (Atlanta) A data-governance EMR plug-in that promotes care coordination, delivering automatic updates to a care team, reducing provider screen time. Allows monitoring of provider notations, orders, chart-surfing activity within the EHR and helps determine care deliverers and data visibility.

Vision Care Connect (Nashville) A concierge patient acquisition service tailored for Ophthalmology, for marketing elective restorative vision procedures.
