Briefly: Luminetx adds 3rd CEO
Comment Print

Memphis-based Luminetx Inc.'s third CEO started work a week ago.  Richard Kindberg (left, in a shot lifted from Linked-In) has succeeded interim CEO Al Gossett, a Memphis-area investor and car dealer, who wrested the job from former CEO Jim Phillps (right), who some Memphis media describe as having been ousted from the post, after disappointing progress.

VNC research indicates Kindberg was previously president of Teleflex Medical; senior vice president of CR Bard; president, Optical Biopsy Technologies; president, Richard-Allan Medical, in addition to several other sales and development posts in the medical-devices sector.

Media coverage of the appointment seems to reflect recent years' turbulence at Luminetx, as well as growing media caution in reporting prospects of high-growth companies.  See the Commercial Appeal's articles here and here.
